To top it all off, when you finally do make it back to a city, your game will crash. Trying to make it back to a city with an injured leg is like trying to navigate a maze except the maze walls want to eat your guts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you get injured and are trying to make it back to a city, you always look like a slave, the noble hunters have clairvoyance, the samurai patrols think you look like a rebel, the actual rebels appear from thin air, and the skimmers quadruple their spawns to create a living wall of death just to shit in your cornflakes. I've based all over the map, but the Great Desert has got to be the single most infuriating place to do anything.
